"Stylianos Tziritas was born in Athens in 1967 and studied performance in Germany and Spain. He is one of the most multifarious, notorious and unpredictable artists of the Greek underground scene. He is active as a musician, writer, columnist, radio producer and music producer and he was involved in multiple projects with a wide area of interests. He has published various fanzines like Trash City, Κόρη Οφθαλμού, Σιδερένιο Ψωράλογο and he has written articles for many Greek music magazines. As a musician he was a founding member of Feedbacking The Grass, Bayouda, Κοψωκέφαλοι, Trypanosoma and today he is performing solo or as Stylianos Tziritas Unit.
A (R) MOUR is a solo work by Stylianos Tziritas. He draws inspiration from the concept of Love as the dominant expression of human life. This operative power is still a mysterious and incomprehensible transformative process, standing as an everyday revelation to human beings. A (R) MOUR includes 5 musical compositions in which sound generators, electronics and contact microphone are used, creating a post industrial atmosphere, leading us to noise ambientism. Text is playing a quite important role here, as it is the key to understanding the flow of Stylianos Tziritas thoughts about "love", making references to the French Revolution and the suffragettes, Balthus, Stalingrad, etc."-MoreMars
