Winner of the 2nd place at the IX International Jazz Improvisation Competition in Katowice in 2019. Winner of the First Prize in the Solo category at the Tarnów Jazz Contest 2018. That year, together with the original Przemysław Chmiel Quartet, he won the 2nd place at the 2018 Blue Note Poznań Competition. With Natalia Kordiak's band, he won 2nd place at the Tarnów Jazz Contest 2017.

In 2019, two albums with Przemysław Chmiel were released. The first is "Bajka" by Natalia Kordiak Quintet. The premiere of the album - released by the Slovak HevHetia label - took place in Prague, Czech Republic, as part of the Voicingers on Tour festival. "Bajka" received great reviews, was included in many lists of the best albums of 2019 and was nominated for the Fryderyk award in the "Phonographic debut of the year - jazz" category. The second album is, "Word on T." by Sabina Meck Sextet (SJ Records). The album also received great reviews and was recognized as one of the best vocal albums of 2019."

Mateusz Kołakowski is a Polish jazz pianist, known for the groups Kołakowski:Wykpisz:Korelus. He studied at the Academy of Katowice. He was the winner of 3rd prize at the International Chopin Competition in Antonin, Poland (1996), and at the Padereweski Competition in Katuuzy (1997). In 1997, he was made a laureate of "Vertuosi per musica di pianoforte" (Usti). He has also performed Beethoven & Mendelssohn concertos with the Polish Youth Symphony Orchestra in Erkelenz, Germany.

Alan Wykpisz: "Born in 1991, Alan Wykpisz is a distinguished figure of the generation of young double bass players. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow and Katowice. Awarded at international festivals such as: Jazz Hoeilaart 2011, Bass Copenhagen 2012, Tarnów International Azoty Jazz Contest 2013 and 2014 and Jazz Nad Odrą 2015. With High Definition Quartet nominated for the Fryderyk 2014 award for the best jazz debut of the year for the album Hopasa released for Universal Music Polska.
