The four pieces, all dating from 2012 and 2013, are remarkably varied, ranging from the quiet and subtle beauty of Of Monsters, a duo for piano and accordion, to the harsh power of Cells, a piece for vibrating amplified snare drums. The CDR also includes Another for string quintet and vibraphone, and Bead, Spit for piano, electric guitar and percussion. Though the pieces are very varied sonically, they all work from concepts of contagious movement and mutation as applied to musical processes."-Another Timbre
