Originally an electric bassist, he later switched to the double bass and extended his spectrum to electronic music. He is also particularly interested in interdisciplinary work. In joint projects with authors, dancers, actors or visual artists, concert performances, installations and radio plays are created.His radio play work with the Liquid Penguin Ensemble has received several awards (among other things German radio play price of the ARD 2008, radio play price of the war blinds 2015) Stefan Scheib teaches at the Academy of Music Saar contrabass, electric bass as well as dealing with electronic media.
