He began his studies of double bass at the National Academy of Orchestra and completed his degree at ESART, School of Applied Arts, under the guidance of Prof. Adriano Aguiar. During his 89 years of training, he worked as a masterclass and worked with different teachers, including Catalin Rotaru, Janne Saksala, Manuel Rego and Nuno Arrais (masterclasses); Jean-Marc Bur n, José Eduardo Gomes, Pedro Neves and Rui Pinheiro (teachers).
