"Paul Williamson has established a reputation for producing distinctive recordings of outstanding ensemble performances. Williamson is the leading artist on ten commercially released CD releases.
Williamson has performed with international jazz artists at festivals and venues in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. He was active in the European jazz scene whilst based in Dublin and performed with Bill Carothers, Dave Liebman, Reggie Washington, Paul Wertico, Ronan Guilfoyle, Lindsay Horner, Michael Buckley ad Métier before returning to Melbourne in 2009. His recent performances include collaborations with Eddie Palmieri, Tomasz StaÅ"ko, Charlie Haden, Kenny Werner, John Abercrombie, the Australian Art Orchestra, Hermeto Pascoal, Aaron Goldberg, Django Bates, Mike Nock, Tony Gould, Nasheet Waits, Mark Helias, and the Monash Art Ensemble. • Show Bio for Hiroki Hoshino "Hiroki Hoshino is an active jazz double bassist in the Melbourne scene. His musical roots stem from classical training on the piano and violin since the age of 5, and began jazz and improvised music on double bass in 2010. Since then he has performed at venues such as Bennetts Lane jazz club, Uptown jazz café, Paris Cat jazz club, Conduit Arts and Wangaratta jazz festival with artists including Bopstretch, Allan Browne, Aaron Choulai, James Sherlock, David Rex and Gerald Clayton. Currently involved with the Mingus Thingus band, Niran Dasika's Manticore, Destination Moon, and leads quartets and quintets of his original music.
