SQUIDCO Overstock Sale March 24, 2016

Squidco & The Squid's Ear

Through the winter we've been increasing space on our shelves through a series of overstock sales. This is the last of those sales, and it's our biggest sale yet! Over the past few weeks we've reduced the price on a new set of more than 700 items, and this weekend we're offering those same items for an additional 10% off those already-reduced prices. Take a close look at these releases, which draw from titles across our catalog in all major categories and formats. But hurry, because this sale ends Sunday, March 27!

In Stock and Ready to Ship

We're never quite caught up with new releases that constantly come in our door, and we don't like to rush a release to our homepage. That said, the following releases have already been stocked at Squidco, and are able to be ordered. In most cases we have images, often have samples, and some basic description of each release. You can always see the latest new releases by checking our Just In Stock Section.

In our 13 years we've shipped thousands of packages around the world. It's a big part of what we love to do, to connect people with music from one country to the next, and to do it at a reasonable price. Unfortunately for the last couple of years the US Post Office has had different ideas, and has raised the price of shipping internationally with large increases that we simply don't understand. You're frustrated, we're frustrated... so we started looking for a new carrier to get your orders to you at a more reasonable price.

And we found it, so today we are announcing our new

International Economy Shipping!

With this service, we've reduced the price of sending a typical CD in a jewel tray to $5, and the price of a typical LP to about $9. That's less than half the shipping cost we were charging with USPS! The new system is simple: our carrier accumulates our orders, separates them by country, and then brings them via airmail to your post office to be delivered. The delivery time is a bit slower, about 3-4 weeks instead of 1-2 weeks, but we believe the price more than makes up for it.
