Saturday, April 16, 2016 is Record Store Day, a day to celebrate record stores and the music they carry! Our retail store is open Saturday from 11-6:00 PM with sales and special offers, live music and videos, in a full day party!

For those of you who can't visit our store in person, we're offering the following discounted prices online:

Store-wide:

• Buy 1-4 item, take 8% off the price of each item
• Buy 5 or more items, take 15% off the price of those items


In addition, eligible items will earn Squidco Reward Points!

In-stock items only, orders must use our shopping cart. Insurance, shipping, and gift certificates excluded. Discount applied at checkout time. Items, including new & recent releases, will be hidden on our website if their stock has sold out--they will return to the store on Monday, April 18th showing their stock level after the sale is complete. Sale runs from Friday, April 15 at 14:00 EST until Sunday, April 17 at midnight EST (GMT-5). Eligible items will earn Squidco Reward Points.

Residents, The: Please Do Not Steal It!

Created for college radio in an original edition of 1000 copies, this 1979 LP was recorded while The Residents were beginning to get attention, extolling DJs not to steal the LP, which made it all the more theft-worthy; reissued for Record Store Day 2016.

All day long we're offering 15% off all new LPs, CDs, DVDs & Cassettes. Every purchase gets a free CD from our unknown promo box. All review CDs will be on sale at $8 each, 3 for $20. And we've had a large number of used LPs to our bins, and reduced the prices on older used LPs.

We're also celebrating the day with Live Experimental and Improvised Music, films & interactive sound.
