"Erb played in the 2000s and a.. In the band of trumpeter Manuel Mengis Group 6 and has participated in the album Into The Barn ( Hathut Records , 2005) with. With keyboardist Hans-Peter Pfammatter he formed in 2006 the band Project Purple, in which also Flo Stoffner (guitar) and Julian Sartorius (drums) play and with whom he also toured in Germany and the Netherlands. In 2007 he joined with his group erb_gut the Jazz Festival Schaffhausen with Peter Schärl to and he founded the label veto Records.
Erb worked 2010 in Chicago U.A. With Fred Lonberg-Holm, Jason Roebke and Frank Rosaly, with whom he recorded the album bag (veto). With Lonberg-Holm and Josh Berman he acts in trio Bererberg; a electroacoustic formation forms Erb with Chicago musicians Jim Baker (piano) and Michael Zerang (percussion)."
"French - Japanese violist Frantz Loriot performs solo as well as in various ensembles by way of improvisation and electronics , crossroads of different musical genres: improvised music, experimental, rock, contemporary music and electronics. He has contributed to multidisciplinary projects related to dance, image and poetry.
Frantz Loriot leads two large ensembles, the European Notebook Large Ensemble , a 10 piece ensemble with Swiss, Japanese, Belgian and Italian musicians with which he released "Urban Furrow" on the Po r tuguese label Clean Feed ( July 2015 ) and the NYC based 12 piece Systematic Distort ion Orchestra in which Frantz reunites some of the finest NYC based improvisers and with which he released "The Assembly" on the NYC based label NowOut recordings. Beside these projects, Frantz released his debut solo recording "Reflection s on an Introspective Path" on the NYC based label Neither/Nor. For the year 2016, Frantz got invited by the prestigious Météo - Mulhouse Music festival to be artist in residence for a new creation called Der dritte Treffpunkt . For this occasion, Frantz will lead and reunite a new quartet, Der Verboten, with pianist Cédric Piromalli, saxophonist Antoine Chessex and percussionist Christian Wolfarth."
