24 short works for clavichord from German composer Christoph Schiller and performed by French keyboardist Ed Williams (Heard Of Bears, TANDEM, Grand 8 Ensemble), slowly developing pieces that bring clusters of notes like falling leaves that slowly fade into silence, thoughtful works of space around unanticipated clusters, presented as groups of "Fuge" variations.

Curling fractal surfaces fold in on one another, and in their decay nourish future, unimagined flora."-Ed Williams

Artist Biographies
• Show Bio for Christoph Schiller "Christoph Schiller was born in 1963 in Stuttgart. He studied fine arts at the Kunstakademie Stuttgart and HfBK Hamburg. He later studied piano with Daniel Cholette and music theory in Basel. He has been playing concerts of improvised music on piano since 1987. In recent years the piano has been abandoned in favour of the lighter spinet, for which he has developed specific playing techniques which are influenced by inside piano techniques. Besides keyboard instruments his work with the voice has become increasingly important. He lives in Weil am Rhein and Basel." ^ Hide Bio for Christoph Schiller • Show Bio for Ed Williams "Ed Williams is a guitarist, harpsichordist and composer active in the experimental music scene in Marseille, France. He got his ABRSM Grade 8 in Harpsichord and Classical Guitar and graduated his Bachelor of Music with a First from Edinburgh University. He received the composition diploma "en Cycle Spécialisé" from the CNRR of Marseille and continued studies in Maxime Barthélémy's Electroacoustic Composition class at the Cité de la Musique. He also runs a podcast, Echo Chamber, on experimental music, designs posters and CD covers, and translates texts for contemporary music publisher Maison ONA." ^ Hide Bio for Ed Williams
