Phil Zampino, founder of Squidco, started professional life as a Database Systems Programmer in 1983 working with IMS, and quickly after, IBM's DB2 when it was first released as a Version 1 product. Fascinated by the relational architecture and it's potential in simplifying database applications, he immediately began developing mainframe database applications using ISPF and REXX, a scripting environment very similar to developing web pages with variable substituted templates. As a Senior Database Analyst, Zampino was able to bring himself closer to the data, and to begin working with the client server environment. This brought experience with UDB, IBM's client server edition of DB2, Sybase, and SQL Server.

It is this experience that forms the architectural core of Squidco's development abilities. Education, experience and consideration are what Squidco brings to your development efforts.
