"Devin Gray is a polymath: inventive drummer, intrepid composer, chief of a burgeoning record label. Gray continues his ascension with 'Melt All the Guns'... The title might suggest a recording where frustrations boil over into blurts and squeals. In fact, it's just the opposite. The protest music that the trio makes is akin to meditative paintings, vivid in scope with microscopic-level attention to detail."-Brad Cohan / JazzTimes

The symphonies of Beethoven and Mozart, the rhythms of Haitian music, and the soulful hymns of her family's church, all wove together, a tapestry of sound that stirred her spirit. The whispers of the universe of music beckoned her, and at the tender age of six, she began her journey into its depths, exploring the piano's secrets. With a curious heart, she also found music in the everyday objects that surrounded her. As she grew, her path led her to the world of jazz, where she honed her rhythmic skills and expanded her palette of sounds. With each step, she crafted her unique voice, a reflection of her personality, where words pale in comparison. Her quest for knowledge led her to the tutelage of greats like Django Bates, Ralph Alessi, Wolfgang Lackerschmid, Cansu Tanrikulu and Dejan Terzic. Along the way, she delved into the intricacies of harmony, musical writing, and free improvisation. Her journey culminated in a master's degree in jazz performance from the Hochschule Der Kunste in Bern. With every note she plays, Myslaure weaves spells of enchantment, a testament to her sensitivity and deep connection to the universe of music." ^ Hide Bio for Myslaure Augustin • Show Bio for Devin Gray "An artist interested in multiple musical directions and one who strives for quality and sincerity in his work.
