Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

Mr. Dorgon creating "Intuitive + Counter Intuitive Musics", shorter works of odd sound & noise, or cracked plunderphonics at an ADD rate, like Concrete TV gone mad. In an odd way this reminds of Stock, Hausen & Walkman's shorter vinyl pieces: moody and quirky collections of sound that aren't content with being clever, that don't care about getting got. A great set of bizarre audio work with a good sense of pacing that lulls and befuddles on it's own schedule.

For Jason Viseltear
(Jumbo)
Jason Viseltear, based in NYC, makes violins, violas, and cellos for both contemporary and period / baroque performance. Inexplicably, Mr. Dorgon dedicated this work to him, a piece of sound and noise, perhaps constructed using string instruments; perhaps not.

Sinister looping and shimmering works from Mr. Dorgon taking on the trumpet - or at least, a dead trumpeter: an unusual homage to cool dead player Miles Davis.
