"Born in Mexico in 1977, Edgar Barroso received his PhD Harvard University where he worked with Hans Tutschku, Brian Ferneyhough, Helmut Lachenmann, Michael Gandolfi and Chaya Czernowin. His education includes a Master in Digital Arts, a Postgraduate Diploma in Composition and Contemporary Technologies and a "Cum Laude" Bachelor in Music Composition. Starting in 2010 he was appointed as Director of the Harvard Group for New Music. As a Teaching Fellow at Harvard he taught Electroacoustic Music Composition, Advance Composition and Music Theory. As a Resident Tutor at Adams House he mentored the "Harvard Composers Association" and he is a Sophomore Academic Adviser. His works have been interpreted in important forums in North America, Ibero-America, Asia and Europe. During 2006-2011 he received "The Bohemians" (New York Musicians Club) Prize (USA), the Francis Boott Prize in Music Composition (USA), 1rst Prize at the Jurgenson International Composition Competition for young composers (Russia), Best Audio Award from International Black&White Multimedia Festival (Portugal) he was the Grand Prize Winner of the Harvard University Live Electronics International Composition Competition (USA), 3rd Prize at the Ensemblia 2007 International Composition Competition (Germany), granted the "Young Creator Award" by the National Fund for Culture and Arts (Mexico) for his project "Transaxial" in Music Composition and one of the 2015 Ibermúsica prize. He has received commissions from the DAAD Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst, (Germany) and the PHONOS Foundation (SPAIN) among others. In 2005 he was a Scholarship Holder of the Music Technology Group in Barcelona. Barroso also received the Fellowship for the Audiovisual and Music for Young Creators given by the University Institute for Audiovisual (Barcelona). He had a "CONACYT - Fundación México en Harvard Fellowship" and a Film Study Center Fellow at Harvard. In addition, he is the founder and co-founder of several startups concerning technology, innovation and public entrepreneurship. He has scored music for film, documentary, audiovisuals, animation, short films, installations and recently he is exploring with experimental video among other audio visual collaborations. His last score for the film "La Brújula la lleva el Muerto" is Official Selection at the International Tokyo Film Festival.Barroso continues instrumental practice as a cello player, exploring diverse techniques of improvisation with/out live electronics."

"Sound artist Mario Verandi was born in 1960 into a theatrical family in San Nicolás (Buenos Aires) and studied music at the Music School of the Rosario National University. In Argentina he played piano and keyboards in groups of different styles such as pop, folk, tango and experimental. In 1986 he moved to Barcelona where he studied with Gabriel Brncic and Xavier Serra at the Phonos Studios and started to compose electro-acoustic and instrumental music. From 1991 he lived in London and in 2001 he completed a PhD in music composition at the University of Birmingham under the supervision of Jonty Harrison. In 2000 he moved to Berlin after having received an invitation from the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) to take part in the prestigious artists-in-residence programme.

Mario Verandi has given presentations and lectures about his work in several institutions in Europe and the USA and in 2003-2004 he was guest lecturer at the musicology department of the Free University Berlin."

"Paul Wilson aka Fast Forward is a New York based english composer and performer who makes music with almost anything. He is probably best known for his in depth musical explorations of the Trinidadian steel pan and his music-theatre works for diverse instrumentation. Feeding Frenzy, a culinary concert for 5 musicians, 5 cooks, 5 waiters and the audience has been performed in many countries, for many occasions, including the 15 year celebration of Freunde Guter Musik at The Museum for Contemporary Art in Berlin and the Time of Music Festival in Finland. It ran for three seasons at the Kitchen Center in New York. Typhoon Shelter for sextet recently premiered in Hong Kong for soundpocket.

In his solo concerts, he adopts a sculptural approach to creating sound. He examines the sensual, tactile qualities of the objects, then ties the sound of the objects to the physical gesture that creates the sound. The result is a stage presence that integrates the visual element of the performance with the music.

Past concerts have included the use of "explosif-hammers" in Berlin, the metal walls of a ferry-boat in the sea of Japan and the cooking of a twelve-course dinner for an audience in New York.

He attended art college in England during the early seventies, focusing on media and performance under the guidance of Stuart Marshall in Newcastle. In 1976 he emigrated to the United States to study electronic music with Robert Ashley and David Behrman at Mills College in Oakland, California. Shortly after that, he and his partner Robert Gonsalves established Pink Noise Studios, a resource and production facility for electronic music and the recording media. He made New York his home in 1981 and has lived there until now.

In addition to his own music, he has produced music and musical events for various artists and organisations. He toured extensively as a guest composer and musician for The Merce Cunningham Dance Company since 1994. In November of 2011 he directed and performed in composer Robert Ashley's legendary opera That Morning Thing as Part of Performa 11 in New York with performances at The Kitchen. In conjunction with The Wooster Group, he curated "The Accident" nine evenings of performance music at The Performing Garage in New York City. He also regularly composes for modern dance companies and choreographers. As a teacher, he teaches master classes in composition, improvisation, and music/theater at various institutions including: Time of Music Festival (Viitassari, Finland), Bergen and Trondheim Art Academies (Norway), STEIM (Amsterdam, Holland), Wien University (Vienna), CNDO, (Amsterdam), Theatre pour Danse Contemporain (Paris), Podewil (Berlin) and New York University.

His work has been honoured with several awards, including residencies from the Asian Cultural Council in Japan and the Kunstlerprogram des D.A.A.D. in Berlin. Music commissions have been offered by the Tenjin Barca festival in Osaka, Inventionen in Berlin, The Time of Music Festival in Finland, The Swiss Institute in South Africa, The Whitney Museum in New York, the Interpretations series in New York, Nouvelles Scènes in Dijon, Alexeij Sagerer/ProT (Munich Theater Festival) and Tigertail Productions in Miami, to name a few. In New York, his work has been supported by New York State Council on the Arts, Meet the Composer, New York Foundation for the Arts, Thomas Buckner, Experimental Intermedia, Roulette, the Kitchen, Harvestworks and more.

"Vladimir Djambazov (Bulgarian: ) (born Sevlievo, Bulgaria, 28 October 1954) is a Bulgarian composer and horn player. He studied first at the Music academy in Sofia under Professor Karel Stari (1976-78). Then he won a DAAD scholarship and graduated from the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, Germany, having studied electronic music composition with Dirk Reith (ICEM) and horn with Hermann Baumann.

Vladimir Djambazov composes Electro-acoustic and Acousmatic music, as well as pure acoustic music.

In 2005 he was artist-in-residende of the Berlin artistic program of DAAD, Germany . In 2009 he was one of the 13 European composers selected to participate in the NYCEMF in Manhattan, NY, USA. Since 2009 Vladimir is co-hosting the radio show "Viva La Musica" of the Bulgarian National Radio , one of the TOP 5 music radio shows in Europe for 2011 and holder of the highest Bulgarian radio award "Sirak Skitnik" .

Vladimir won the Grand Prix of the International composing competition "7/8" of the St. George Foundation, USA: in 2012 (Jazz in 7/8) with "KçRIA" for Clarinet, Trumpet/Fluegelhorn and Symphony Orchestra Video on YouTube and in 2013 (Rhapsody in 7/8) with "Footsteps"- a Bulgarian Dance Rhapsody for symphony orchestra Video on YouTube.

In 2014 he composed Un Viaggio in Italia, a choral-symphonic work with solo soprano.
