Recorded by John Harrison on April 6th, 1997 and September 4th, 1997.
"Recorded April 6 & September 4, 1997 at the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre at the University of Guelph, Ontario. The performances were part of an exhibition of sculptural work by Reinhard Reitzenstein. The exhibition was in two parts, a sound installation entitled Klang Bau and a sculptural work entitled "Wilderness and the Scientific Method" consisting of pyrex glass objects referencing laboratory devices. In Klang Bau two large curved wooden resonators are attached to the walls, amplifying attached strings played with fingers or bows. The strings form two-dimensional y-shaped structures which create complex sound combinations."-Spool
