"Luzia von Wyl's music takes on the precision and the complexity of experience itself. Each piece is precisely crafted for a specific use of her musical resources, employing one to ten instruments. "Spark" has such driving energy and sonic variety that you might not notice Luzia is playing solo, while "Jingle," a lighter episode with great detail, is written for the four contrasting woodwinds. This is a music that seems to engage all the senses in the richness of the moment, whether it's the layered, overlapping rhythms of "Kalimba" or the vivid shifts of "Quints," a wild confluence of sounds and voices from the airplane take-off glissandi and wild vocalics of the bass clarinet to the distorted hoe-down of the violin, all crisscrossing the strange groove of cello, bass and drums. It's a playful, wholly engaging musical world in which individual pieces are like interlocking parts of a single vision."-Stuart Broomer
