Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

"Eight pieces for two guitars, performed by the composer and Catriel Nievas. The guitars are either electric or amplified acoustic, I think, and the pieces tend toward long, clear tones alongside hazier ones, suspended amidst the space in the room. Sometimes, "simple" lines are unfurled, even ones that resemble scales. When overlapping, the two guitars will often create piquant harmonics. You hear the room in Buenos Aires, distant dogs. The sounds are forceful and rich, even occasionally piercing, but always serene and unhurried. Like a close-in hearing of water droplets on metal, the final drops massive in context. Lovely."-Brian Olewnick, Just Outside

His interest in electric guitar lies in the repetition of simple melodies, chords and ghostly sounds in search of the rhythm they generate inside and the traces they leave in memory and listening.

He has collaborated and made recordings with musicians from the local scene and from various countries, both with electric guitar, as well as with field recordings, performance actions, electronics or composition of ad hoc pieces. he played in concerts, festivals and cycles in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Switzerland and France.

He performs urban performances by making large groups of musicians dialogue with the urban space and the sounds that inhabit it.

He is part of the instrumental post-rock group PRUSIA, of the interdisciplinary duo KL'L together with the artist lil lilen and of the minimal rock trio about. Currently he is part of the trio Merce - Cabado - Nievas and they are in the process of producing their first album.
