"Guitarist and composer Adam Caine has developed an international reputation as an innovative artist.

Adam Caine grew up in Rochester, New York, studied music at the University of Rochester, and has lived in Brooklyn, NY since the first days of the 21st Century. Caine's trio CD's "Thousandfold" (NoBusiness Records, 2009) and "Pipe" (TrueFalse, 2006) received rave reviews in the Wire, Cadence, and All About Jazz. As a composer for video art, Caine's music has been featured in over 20 international festivals.

"Bob Lanzetti is a Brooklyn, NY based professional guitarist, composer, producer, and educator. He has performed and recorded with many artists throughout the NYC area as well as played in over 40 countries with the three time Grammy® Award-Winning jazz/funk collective, Snarky Puppy.

Growing up on the Jersey Shore, Bob had the fortune of studying music with NYC area based guitar greats Chris Buono, David "Fuze" Fiuczynski, and Vic Juris. In 2000, Bob moved to Denton, TX to further his education at the University of North Texas where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies. In addition to his studies he was fortunate enough to get involved in the thriving R&B and Gospel music scene in the DFW area as well as meet the musicians who would go on to form the core of Snarky Puppy.

As a member of Snarky Puppy, Bob has had the opportunity to contribute as a writer, arranger, and guitarist, playing on every recorded release and performing all over the world. The Pups have earned three GRAMMY Awards to date. Best R&B Performance in 2014 ("Something" featuring Lalah Hathaway), and Best Contemporary Instrumental Album in 2016 and 2017 ("Sylva" with Metropole Orkest and "Culcha Vulcha", respectively).Since 2006, Bob has been residing in Brooklyn, NY. There he has become an in-demand session guitarist performing and recording with many artists including Tommy Sims, Bokanté, Michelle Willis, Cory Henry, Ghost-Note (Robert "Sput" Searight/Nate Werth), Lucy Woodward, Musiq Soulchild, Bilal, Banda Magda, Underground System, and many others.

In addition to sideman work, Bob writes, records, produces, and performs his own original compositions with his quintet. His debut record, Whose Feet are These That are Walking, was released September 29th, 2017, with a tour to follow. Bob has composed and recorded the score for two dance films for the Allendance Company as well as performed improvised solo guitar music for yoga and dance classes.

As an educator Bob teaches music and guitar out of his Brooklyn studio, has given clinics around the world, and has worked in outreach programs through Carnegie Hall for underprivileged teens to write, record, and perform their own original music."

"Adam Lane - Composer/Bassist

By combining a disparate set of influences into a unique improvisational voice, Adam Lane has become recognized as one of the most original creative voices in contemporary jazz. His 2006 recording New Magical Kingdom, was recently featured in the Penguin Jazz Guide 1001 Best Records Ever Made, and his most recent recording, Ashcan Ranting received a myriad of critical praise including four stars in Downbeat.

His current projects include his Full Throttle Orchestra, a nine piece ensemble formed to realize his extended jazz orchestral compositions, The Adam Lane Trio, featuring legendary reedist Vinny Golia, Four Corners, a co-lead ensemble with reedist Ken Vandermark, and an ongoing solo project that combines unique processed double bass improvisations with Lane's original story telling. As a sideman he has performed with an eclectic mix of musicians, from tenor great John Tchicai, to alto iconoclast Richard Tabnik, to rock legend Tom Waits. Lane's compositions have been praised for their audacity and originality.

Sam Prestiani of Jazziz says of Lane's writing: "His confidence and confrontational prowess as well as his abiding sense of lyricism and heavy-groove power place him in the lineage of forward-jazz adventurism." And Bill Meyer writes in Downbeat, "Lane's music is genuine, accessible, fun. Lane studied composition at Wesleyan University with Anthony Braxton, and at California Institute of the Arts with Wadada Leo Smith. In 1996 he received a Paternings Scholarship for study at the Darmstadt School for New Music where he studied double bass with Steffano Scodanibbio, and attended master classes in composition with Karlheinz Stockhausen."

"Billy Mintz was born in Queens, New York. By the age of 15 he was playing in the show bands of the Catskill Mountain resorts developing his musicianship.

In his twenties, while living in New York City, he played and recorded with the Lee Konitz Nonet (1978), Kundalini with Perry Robinson and Badal Roy, the Eddie Daniels Quartet, Gloria Gaynor, the Steve Tintweiss Quartet, and the Harold Danko Quartet.

In 1981 Mr. Mintz relocated to Los Angeles where he was a member of the Mike Garson Trio with Stanley Clarke ; the Kim Richmond Sextet; the Bobby Shew Quintet, the Joey Sellers' Jazz Aggregation, and the Vinny Golia Quartet. He also perfomed several times with the Mose Allison Trio and with Mark Murphy, and did a stint with the Merv Griffin Show band.

In LA, Mr. Mintz was also the drummer for the Bill Mays Quartet, as well as for Road Work Ahead, with Mr. Mays, Bob Magnusson and Peter Sprague. In 1988 he toured Europe with saxophonist Charles Lloyd's band. Throughout the 1980's he performed and recorded with Bill Perkins, Frank Strazzeri, and Pete Cristlieb.

Throughout his life Mr. Mintz has taught privately and done clinics at schools around the world, including the Berklee School of Music, NYU, California Institute of the Arts, North Texas State University the Dick Grove School of Music, Musikgymnasium in Innsbruck, Austria, Long Island Drum and Percussion Club, Eagle Rock H.S., Arizona State University at Tempe, and University of Arizona at Phoenix,. He also taught extensively while on tour with various artists in Sydney, Australia, Tel Aviv, Israel and Wellington, New Zealand.

Mr. Mintz has written two books: Different Drummers (AMSCO Music Publishing) and Advanced Sticking and Sight-Reading (BM Publications). His articles have been published in Not Just Jazz and Modern Drummer magazines.

Mr. Mintz currently lives in New York, where he performs with the Alan Broadbent Trio, Roberta Piket Trio, the Russ Lossing Trio, and Tony Malaby, among others.

In recent years, Mr. Mintz has taken on new roles as a bandleader and composer. For the past 15 years he has led the Two Bass Band, a ten-piece ensemble which features his compositions and arrangements. He also leads the Billy Mintz Band (with Tony Malaby, Rich Perry, Adam Kolker, Hilliard Greene and Roberta Piket) and performs solo drumset concerts.

As a soloist Mr. Mintz has performed extensively on both coasts of the US as well as internationally."

"Alto Saxophonist Nick Lyons has been called "one of the most important and original alto saxophonists on the improvisation scene" (Manhattan Users Guide, 2015) and "a young jazzer to watch" (Time Out-NY). His collaborations, based around spontaneously improvised music, have included performing with guitarist Adam Caine, pianists Connie Crothers and Carol Liebowitz. Lyons leads various trios which have included drummers Roger Mancuso and John Wagner and bassists Adam Lane, Hilliard Greene, and Ratzo Harris. Of his 2009 solo performance at The Stone (a pick in Time Out-NY), Mark Weber commented on "his ability to go inside himself and find meaningful lyric inventions, curling out line upon line," adding that the concert was "magnificent."

In 2015 Nick was a featured guest on WKCR's "Out to Lunch," performed in Berlin at clubs A-Trane and B-Flat and appeared on Cheryl Richards's CD "If Not For You" on New Artists Records.

He has been a regular performer in concert series presented by Arts for Art, the NYC fixture which produces the annual Vision Festival.

He has recently performed in groups led by tenor saxophonist Jimmy Halperin (who cited Lyons as one of his favorite young musicians in New York City, JazzTokyo.org), Connie Crothers (The Stone), pianist Harvey Diamond (Boston area), and Aaron Johnson (Dizzy's Club); and he has led groups with pianist Kazzrie Jaxen and bassist Ken Filiano, and pianist Virg Dzurinko, trumpeter Ryan Messina, and drummer Federico Ughi.

Originally from New York City and raised in Northern New Jersey, he has now lived in Brooklyn since 2005.
