"Janet Feder is a Denver, ColoradoÐbased composer and guitarist. She is a classically trained guitar player best known for her work in the prepared guitar genre. In addition, Janet Feder is: a lecturer at the University of Colorado; co-curator of MediaLive, an annual festival in Boulder, Colorado; and an Artistic Associate of Square Product Theatre.

Solo projects include T H I S C L O S E (2015), Songs with Words (2012), Ironic Universe, a CD & DVD featuring Fred Frith (AdHoc Records/USA 2006), and Speak Puppet (Recommended Records/UK 2001), as well as compilations for Zerx Records (Albuquerque, NM; 1999-07) and the compilation The $100 Guitar Project (Bridge Records, 2012). She also appears on Jane Rigler's Rarefactions (Neuma 2015) and Honey Barbara's Wave Grass (2015), in addition to 156 Strings produced by Henry Kaiser for Cuneiform Records (USA, 2002) and I Never Meta Guitar produced by Elliott Sharp for Clean Feed Records (Portugal, 2010), both featuring guitar players from around the globe.

In conjunction with Paul Fowler, Feder composed the film score Leavings (2014), plus the score and sound design for the Square Product Theatre adaptation of Selah Saterstrom's novel SLAB.

Feder was one of several contributors to Paul Riola's Bottesini Project, where her work was featured alongside Nels Cline, Keenan Wayne, CacheFlowe, Glenn Taylor, and Mark Harris on the 2009 album Naima's Grass Pajamas. The album began as "collective improvisations recorded live in the studio" which "were then later reconstructed."

T H I S C L O S E (2015) and Songs With Words (2012) were both recorded live at Immersive Studios in Boulder, Colorado in DSD Pure on Gus Skinas' 32 channel Sonoma System and are currently available on both vinyl and SACD. There are no digital effects on either Songs With Words or T H I S C L O S E. A reviewer noted that Songs With Words "explores the outer reaches of sonic possibility yet never loses the thread of melody and beauty." while T H I S C L O S E has been described as "Feder's most fully realised album...Unique and highly moving music"

Feder's solo work was featured in a June 2012 Tiny Desk Concert on NPR. Feder is also currently half of Denver-based duo Cowhause with Colin Bricker."

"Ikbal Lubys is an Artist, Musician, Guitar Explorer, Builder, Improvisator, and Sound Artist. He was born in from Malang, East Java and based in Yogyakarta. He formally trained western classical music and classical guitar at Indonesian Institute of Art Yogyakarta. His work currently evolves transforming social issues, images and three dimensional forms in to sound in various presentation formats and collaboration with interdisciplinary artists arround the world including performing art, visual art, dance, and film. Among them Meg Stuart, Melati Suryodarmo, Jompet Kuswidananto, Daniel Kotter, Ignaz Schick, Arco Renz, The Kazimier, Lurie Crombie, Rully Shabara, Wukir Suryadi, etc. He involved in programming and mentoring in some residencies, conference, and art communities. He has been participated in several exhibition and Festival such Sidney Bienalle, Jeonbuk Museum of Art Korea, Brussel Europalia Festival, Bluedot Festival UK, Fon Festival UK, etc. In 2017 he awarded for Comission work of AND festival Manchester UK. He is also Co-founder of Ethnictro, one of the Yogyakarta based creative spaces for sound and music founded in 2008 as an independent institution which focuses on art education, music teaching & learning, and open expressions."

E. Jason Gibbs is a guitar player and improviser, based in Portland, Maine, United States.

"Joshua Weitzel is a musician, curator and researcher born in 1989.

As an improviser, composer and performer he is mostly active in the field of experimental music, jazz and the grey areas in-between. His instruments of choice are guitar (acoustic and electric) and shamisen, which he plays both employing traditional and extended/invented playing techniques such as using circular breathing on stringed instruments, preparations and scordatura. His music is primarily concerned with spaces, contrast, harmony, timbre and interaction between players.

Aside from his own music practice he curates concerts, performances and exhibitions in Kassel. He was the artistic director interim of the art space Galerie Feiertag from 2019-2020 and the artistic director of the concert series Chamäleon Experimente (2018), Chamäleon Clash (2019) and Chamäleon Verbindungen (2020/21). In 2020, the concert series is awarded the culture prize of Kassel (Kulturförderpreis Stadt Kassel).

He further coordinates online-releases and concerts under the umbrella Kassel Experimental Music Productions. He also works as a gallery educator and art mediator (among others dOCUMENTA (13), 11. Berlin Biennale new talents biennale Cologne, and KW Institute Berlin).

His research interests are located at the intersection of musicology, art history, and education.

He holds a Master's degree with distinction from King's College London and a Bachelor's degree from Göttingen University. Currently, he is working on a PhD in music at the Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh, where he writes about sound in the context of the history of documenta exhibitions. Since May 2020 he is artistic-scientific asscociate for sound art and sound research at the Hochschule für Musik Mainz in the group Art - Sound - Research led by Prof. Peter Kiefer. "

"Eric Wong - Born 1981 in Minneapolis, MN, grew up in Hong Kong, studied Psychology at the University of Minnesota. He is a guitarist, computer musician, and improviser. Although he has taken some lessons at younger age, he is pretty much an autodidact. He focuses on sound textures and perception of sound.

Currently based Berlin, he has performed in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Macau, USA, Taiwan, China, Poland, Switzerland, and Czech Republic. Projects he has been involved include D.N.A.N.D.N.A. with Simon Rose, they played in MIRROR MIRROR FESTIVAL (Berlin, 2016), icra with Mira Falk, Se Noh Te with Eunice Martins, rock duo Meta Fog with Sascia Pellegrini patchworking pop culture montage, played in FREE SPACE FESTIVAL OF WEST KOWLOON (Hong Kong, 2013), and APOCALYPSE POSTPONED of Art Basel Hong Kong (2014), musical collective Stoic Strangers with Wilson Tsang plus other Hong Kong based musicians, played in KEEP THE SILENCE FESTIVAL (Hong Kong, 2013), Berlin Soundpainting Orchestra, as well as working with many other artists across the globe. In 2015 he played duo with Wilmer Chan in JOLT FESTIVAL (Hong Kong), which originated in Australia, and later become a festival across different countries.

In 2016 he co-curated and performed in UNSTUMM HONG KONG, a cross media improvisation performance with musicians and visual artists from Germany and Hong Kong."
