Danilo Gallo is a bassist, composer and music producer. He plays doublebass, acoustic bass guitar, bass balalaikas, 12 strings bass. Gallo was born in Foggia Italy and lives in Padova. He plays in many bands, among them Gallo & The Roosters (leader), Mickey Finn + Cuong Vu, Rollerball, Francesco Bearzatti Tinissima, Dolphiana, The Crypt, Unscientific Italians, El Gallo Rojo Double Quartet, Zeno de Rossi Shtik, Geegallominetto, Jessica Lurie Ensembles, Laser Pigs, Osmiza, Orchestra Vertical, Guano Pasano, Enzo Favata "The New Village" feat. Tenores di Bitti, Sparkle and many others. Danilo Gallo collaborated with some of the best known musician from Italy and abroad like Benny Golson, Bob Mintzer, Paul Jeffrey, Chris Speed, Kelvin Sholar, DIck Halligan, GIanluigi Trovesi, Paaolo Birro, Kyle Gregory, Robert Bonisolo, Fabrizio Bosso, Gianluca Petrella, Marcello Tonolo, David Boato, Ettore Martin, Massimo Chiarellaa, Renato Chicco, Gianni Lenoci, Romano Mussolini, Renato Daiello, Antonio Ciacca, Davide Santorsola, Jean Paul Lochet, Rosemarie Navach, Felice Mezzina, Mariella Carbonara, Judith Hamza and others.

"Massimiliano Milesi (born 1983) is an Italian jazz saxophonist and composer.

Milesi was born in Bergamo in 1983. He studied at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. He is currently one of the most active saxophonists on the Italian jazz scene. He made his debut in 2012 collaborating in the projects of trumpeter Giovanni Falzone and, with saxophonist Tino Tracanna, founding the Double Cut quartet in 2015.

Also active internationally since 2014 Milesi is a member of the Wayne Horvitz European Orchestra. He collaborates assiduously with the major jazz musicians of the Italian and international scene. In particular he played and released, in 2020, the album WHen? with Dave Douglas and Steven Bernstein. Also in 2020 Milesi is alongside Jim Black and Francesco Bigoni in the album Dark Dry Tears: hide show yourself! led by Danilo Gallo."

Francesco Bigoni: "Born in Ferrara, Italy, 1982. With an early interest injazz, he takes his first clarinet and saxophone lessons in Ferrara. He attends masterclasses held by Steve Lacy (1998) and Andy Sheppard (2000). He attends the international summer jazz workshops in Siena, Italy. After the 2001 edition he has been granteda scholarship for the 13th IASJ meeting in Helsinki (2002).He plays with Enrico Rava's "Under 21" quintet between 2004 and 2005.He attends the Permanent Workshop held by Stefano Battaglia in Siena from 2004 to 2008. He also starts playing in his Theatrum groups, and in the Outvestigation quartet (since 2007). He's a member of El Gallo Rojo (www.elgallorojorecords.com) label/collective since 2005. Inside the collective, he takes part in various projects, well represented in festivals; he produces about 20records; he organizes a meeting of creative music collectives in Massa Lombarda (RA). In 2006-2007 he writes and performs live music for the play "Metallo", written and performed by Emiliano Pergolari and Michele Bandini and produced by Teatro Stabile dell'Umbria.In 2007 he joins the band Houdini's Cage, making the album Memories Of A Barberafter an Italian tour. The record is released by El Gallo Rojo, and marks the beginning of his friendship with Greg Cohen. In 2008 he is invited by the American bass player to join his new band Argus, that plays its premiere at Polis Jadran Europa Festival in Pula."

Jim Black is at the forefront of a new generation of musicians bringing jazz into the 21st century. In addition to being one of the most influential drummers of our time, he is also the leader of one of the world's most forward-thinking bands, AlasNoAxis, featuring his longtime collaborators Chris Speed, Hilmar Jensson and Skúli Sverrisson. Based on the foundation of his virtuosic but highly personal approach to jazz drumming, Black's aesthetic has expanded to include Balkan rhythms, rock songcraft and laptop soundscapes. Though he is revered worldwide for his limitless technique and futuristic concepts, what many listeners treasure in most Jim Black's work is the relentless feeling of joy and invention he brings to his performances. Jim Black's smiling, kinetic, unpredictable presence has enthralled and inspired audiences worldwide for over twenty-five years.

Since the mid-90's, Black has played a major role in the incorporation of new sounds and techniques into the jazz/creative music context. As a member of the collective group Pachora (with Speed, Sverrisson, and guitarist Brad Shepik) Black was one of the leaders in the study and adaptation of Balkan music into jazz-based music. His advanced techniques abstracted the odd time signatures of the Balkans into a new polyrhythmic language equally informed by modern jazz, drum&bass and the dumbeks of the Balkans. Black has also been an innovator in the use of electronics in improvisation, bridging the gap between electro-acoustic improv and more jazz-based traditions. Today, Black's performances are just as likely to feature his laptop-based electronic textures as his drumming.

Born in 1967, Jim Black grew up in Seattle alongside future colleagues Chris Speed, Andrew D'Angelo and Cuong Vu. After cementing their personal and artistic relationships in Seattle's various youth jazz ensembles, in 1985 they moved to Boston, where Black entered the Berklee School of Music. In Boston, Black, Speed and D'Angelo formed Human Feel with guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel, which rapidly attracted the attention of the jazz cognoscenti in Boston, New York and beyond.

By 1991, Black and the other members of Human Feel had moved to New York City, where they electrified the Downtown music scene then centered around the Knitting Factory and rapidly became among the city's busiest sidemen. Black's early years in New York saw him take featured roles in some of the most critically acclaimed bands of the time, like Tim Berne's Bloodcount, Ellery Eskelin's trio, and Dave Douglas's Tiny Bell Trio. Thus began fifteen years of near-constant touring and recording, with the above bands as well as artists like Uri Caine, Dave Liebman, Nels Cline, Steve Coleman, Tomasz Stanko, and Laurie Anderson.
