"Charles K. Noyes and Elliott Sharp have been improvising together and collaborating in a dizzying variety of musical projects for four decades now including such bands as Noyes' Toy Killers and Sharp's Carbon. They are both well known as innovators on their respective main instruments: percussion and musical saw for Noyes and guitars and reeds for Sharp.
On this release, recorded remotely at their respective studios during the time of covid, the listener may be surprised by their use of instruments for which they are not normally known: CKN here concentrates on electric guitars while E# performs on his invented instruments (arches h-line, violinoid, and triple-course bass pantar ) plus analog synthesizers along with mandocello and soprano sax. The music is vivid and saturated with a dark intensity and filled with unusual sounds. It could easily be a soundtrack to an as-yet unimagined sci-fi noir."-zOar Records
