"Another wonderful example of strings of Ernesto and Guilherme interacting with the incredible vocals of Liga Liberatori and the amazing trombone of Davide Piersanti. Clealry, Lisbon is meeting Italia here, in Berlin, mastered by Carlos Santos. They play 12 short/medium length songs, very touching and absorbing. The highlight of this music is indeed the synergy between human voice, hard to recognize trombone and viola and cello. It sounds like XXI century opera or something similar, maybe even anticipating XXII century? My favorites are the opening "Preparazione in Campo Aperto" and the truly sad and melancholic "Elegia". Another very impressive track is the over 7 minutes long "Nuphar Lutea"."-Maciej Lewenstein

• Show Bio for Ligia Liberatori Ligia Liberatori: Singer Improviser Performer Composer "I am a singer, improviser, performer and composer. My speciality are the extended technics, and the relationship between music and movement. Besides the currently experimental and extended vocal techniques, like multiphonics, circular singing, frys, ululation, inhales an glottal clicks, I have developed special techniques like flaggiolets, high multiphonics and chord singing.I am still searching permanently the possibilities of the human voice and the relationship between music and movement. This work allowes me a lot of scenic skills like singing from a a trapeze or doing acrobatics. On the one side I am interested in sound and timbres and very especially in the music deepness of a piece. On the other side I'm fascinated of absurd an humorously situations, which I use in a lot of my compositions. His main interest shifted towards contemporary improvised and composed music. The relationship with his instruments is focused in sonic and textural elements. Electronic music was an early influence on his approach to violin playing, which challenges traditional romantic concepts of the violin/viola through use of preparations and micro tuning. Active in different settings on the Portuguese scene for free improvised music, both as a collaborator and in leading his own groups. Music for Dance, Cinema, Video and Performance. Has created the record label Creative Sources Recordings in 1999, which mainly concentrates on releasing experimental and electro-acoustic music." ^ Hide Bio for Ernesto Rodrigues
