Recording inside of abandoned agricultural silos in the Colorado plains during the summer of 2023, percussionist Ryan Seward and saxophonist Andrew Weathers leverage the resonance of these large metal structures, taking a slow pace employing silence with a pensive attitude as they improvise encased in these "Laminar Interiors: thin layers of interior sound".

Recorded in the Colorado Piedmont and High Plains, on September 9th 2023.
"We spent a brutally hot late summer day driving around the eastern Coloradio plains. Ryan knew a couple of abandoned agricultural silos where we could get easy access to load a few instruments into. We focused on playing with the environmental sound, activating the room resonance of the huge metal structures, leaving silence and room to think. Each recording has the resonance of the other structure, a rough informal impulse response that settles just under audibility. Laminar Interiors, thin layers of interior sound."-Glomar Editions
